About the Author
Jim Keplinger
He never decided what to be when he grew up. So he chose not to.
Jim Keplinger writes upmarket mystery-thrillers about people who see the game when the game doesn't want to be seen.
A working mentalist and magician for over forty years, he reads people for a living — watching how they lie to themselves, to each other, and to the room. That training informs Benjamin Radcliffe's world of manufactured identities and strategic deception.
Before fiction, Jim was an Air Force weather forecaster, a television meteorologist, a comic book writer for Image Comics, and the founder of several companies. He has lived in thirty states and five countries across forty-nine moves. Forward motion is the only constant.
He writes thrillers, cozy mysteries, and whatever else won't leave him alone. Second for the Dead is his debut thriller and the first in the Benjamin Radcliffe series.
He lives in New Orleans.
